How to find us from Cardiff

Travel along the M4 Motorway, leave at junction 33 and follow the A4232 link road towards Cardiff. (Go past the small turn off to the Welsh Folk Museum.) Leave the dual carriageway at the first main junction (sign posted to Culverhouse Cross, Barry, Cardiff Airport, at the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A48 towards Cowbridge.

If travelling from around Cardiff take the A48 out of the town to Culverhouse Cross roundabout and get onto the A48 towards Cowbridge.

Follow the A48 through St Nicholas, Bonvilston and St. Hillary, and onto the Cowbridge by-pass. At the end of the Cowbridge by-pass take the first turning on the right, (you will see brown tourism signs directing you to Taskforce from this junction). The site entrance is accessed through the first gates on the right hand side, TASKFORCE signs are situated by the gates.

Directions from Swansea

Take the M4 to junction 35, and then follow the A473 towards Bridgend, at the second roundabout take the A48 towards Cowbridge. Continue past the junction on the right for Llantwit Major and go down the hill into a dip and turn left at the bottom of the dip sign posted to Penllyn. The entrance to the site is immediately on your right hand side and enters into a large field. TASKFORCE signs are situated by the gates.

Travel along the stone track through the field and park on the large stone area at the edge of the woods. Follow the track on foot into the woods to the first wooden hut, if this is unattended continue until you reach the safe area, where a Taskforce representative will meet you.

Please do not drive on the grass once you enter the field, keep to the stone track.
